Track Record
Pass rates for exams
We recognise that attending a PRINCE2™ MSP™, Change Management or APM Introductory Certificate course should be about understanding and appreciating the method, as well as passing the exams. However, attending a 2, 3 or 5-day course is a big time commitment and we understand that one of your main aims is to pass the examinations first time.
Maven has an excellent track record in the successful completion of the examinations by delegates attending our courses. In the PRINCE2™, MSP™ and Change Management examinations, our success rates are far in excess of the national average, with regular successful completion of both examinations by all attendees on a course.
In 2008 Our 99.8% pass rate at the foundation level of PRINCE2™ and 91% at the Practitioner level (national average is 77%) places us at the number one position in the top 20 providers of PRINCE2™ Training. We also have an outstanding 100% success rate on our MSP Foundation level, 96% on our MSP™ Practitioner level (national average is 76%) and 95% on our MSP™ Advanced Practitioner (national average is 70%) level courses. Lastly we are proud to reveal we reflect an outstanding 95% pass rate on Principles of Change Management (national average is 91%) and 87% success for APM Introductory Certificate.
We believe this is due to a number of factors:-
Our trainers are project and programme managers, as well as being accredited PRINCE2™Change Management, MSP™ and APM Introductory Certificate trainers. Therefore, we ensure that the courses emphasise both the method and the practical application thereof. Delegates who attend our courses have told us that they find this emphasis extremely beneficial, both during the Practitioner examination, and also back in the workplace.
Our corporate client's find the relevance and tie-ups back to projects they currently have underway ensures that delegates come back into the workplace feeling very positive after the course. Also, it is a cost effective way of either introducing or strengthening their project management culture.
-
As part of the preparation for the course, pre-course reading packs will be provided to you several weeks before the course. This enables you to gain familiarity with the PRINCE2™ manual "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2™", and review the structure of the examination papers well in advance. Any questions that arise during this preparation can be e-mailed to Maven and will be answered promptly by an accredited trainer.
-
During the course, private study is encouraged during the evenings, in order to consolidate the learning from each day and to prepare for the next day. Exercises and revision questions have been designed to assist with this study, and can be reviewed with the trainer the following morning.
-
We take the time to provide one on one feedback to each delegate in the run up to the Practitioner paper. We review and comment upon each piece of work that you do as part of your revision and practice, so that we can pick up on any misunderstandings as early as possible and put them right.
